Next we start with Scully making a joke about a group of loggers going missing in the forest, suspecting ‘Big foot’ might have something to do with it. However if we recall a few episodes back when Mulder makes friends with an ape like thing – which closely resembles Big foot, she should know better by now!

But what they find happens to be a swarm of insects awakened from over five hundred years sleep, and they are hungry. Mulder and Scully find themselves stuck in the forest for three days, bound into a cocoon by an unknown insect species, and left for dead. Luckily Mulder’s amateur ham radio fixing skills save them, and quarantine procedures come into play yet again.
