Clyde Bruckmans Final Repose
Still with the theme of random phenomena, Mulder and Scully go on the chase for a killer who truly has no motive. The only connection being they all happen to be fortune tellers. Mulder confides in someone who is able to tell the future, the most sarcastic non-believer (other then Scully!) of the entire episode, despite the irony, he manages to foresee Mulder’s brush with the killer in a kitchen, which helps him avoid it, slightly. Definitely one of the more humorous episodes which made me laugh a fair bit. Scully’s gun moment is when checking to see if the hotel room where she left the vulnerable man is still in one piece. We also get introduced to Scully’s new dog, who she inherited from a dead woman… yes the dog did get hungry, hence why we’ll refer to Scully’s dog as “Little people-eater” (It’s actual name is ‘Queequeg’, from Moby-Dick).
